A case of obsifying fibroma on the Maxilla

Abstract

|
|
The author has recently experienced a case of ossifying fibroma which was found in the facial wall of the left maxillary bone. The patient was 22 years old male and complained of swelling the left cheek, left unilateral nasal obstruction and slight visual disturbance of the same side. Preoperative impression was osteofibroma. Tumor was excised under modified Weber´s incision and proved fibrous dysplasia of the maxillary bone (ossifying fibroma) by histologic study, Patient´s recovery was uneventful.
